Lae City has several sensational annual events that occur every year. The Unitech Cultural Show, Morobe Cultural Show, Lae Politechnical College Show are some of the many annual events that take place around Lae.

Unitech cultural show is hosted every year in June. So many cultural/traditional costumes and atire are the main eye catching decorations durations this event. Local singers also perform life including other activities for fun and amusement.

The Lae Cultural Show is another big annual event that occurs in Lae every year in Octomber. Many sensational events and activities take place in this shows.
